Namsa Leuba/ Art Director&Photographer - NGL - Art Twenty One 2015

Dear All,

Here is a preview of Namsa Leuba's residency at Art Twenty One during the summer of 2015.
During this residency, she produced her newest series entitled "NGL" for Next Generation Lagos.

She shot at Art Twenty One, Omenka Gallery, and Eko Atlantic.

We will be debuting this series at The Armory Show in New York in 10 days.
Find us at Booth 560 under "Echo Art".

The exhibition will come to Lagos in September of 2015.

Commune.1 is very pleased to announce our end-of-year group exhibition, 'But he doesn't have anything on!'. Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's well known and oft-repeated allegory 'The Emperor's New Clothes', the exhibition brings together contemporary artists who use the visual language of textiles, which have long had a significant influence on South African and African art practice.
